Arsenal slumped to the bottom of the group after a 2-3 loss to Olympiakos at home and now Arsenal’s hopes of Champions League progress are in serious jeopardy after their second successive group stage loss at home to Olympiakos and now Arsenal must now become the first team since Galatasaray in 2012-13 to lose their first two group games and still reach the knockout stage (if they make it).

Some questions burning up with Arsenal fans …

  1. Was Ospina really the right call for the Match?
  2. Was Cech so bad that he can’t play, i mean he was fit for the bench?
  3. Will Arsenal ever learn?
  4. Can Arsenal Survive this shallow waters?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: “It is still possible of course to qualify but it is difficult to swallow losing a game like that. We lost it on a lack of defensive concentration and bad luck. They had four shots on goal and we conceded three goals.

Like Phil put it for bbc, Amid a night of unrelenting gloom, the only shafts of light for Arsenal and their supporters were Walcott and Sanchez. The Englishman continued his development as a striker with another goal, his second in successive Champions League games after scoring his 12th in 13 Premier League matches at Leicester City on Saturday. Sanchez also continued his impressive form scoring a goal for the night and having a good performance overall.

Can Arsenal still make it to the knockout stages?

Is Europa better for Arsenal if they don’t make the knockout stages or better loos out and focus on premiership?
