Leicester 2-1 Chelsea.. Was it a surprise result?

Frankly speaking, for both Leicester fan and Chelsea fans, it was more like it and the result wasn’t surprising because Leicester are in a form of their life and well Chelsea always get to try and try but still go home with nothing or anything.

King Vardy opened the score sheet in the first half with a wonderful cross from Mahrez and Mayrez himself scored a stunning 2nd goal to give the blues something to chase.

Chelsea had Hazard subtituted after an injury from Vardy and with pedro in, Fabregas in and lastly Remy in, the blues got a goal to put the game pressure on for Leicester to give or take.

Leicester goes back to topping the league in one of the finest league form in a long time and Chelsea sits comfortable in 16th position, 1 more game away from relegation. I guess its official, Chelsea might not relegate but will not enter the Top half of the EPL table, what do you think?

Chelsea boss Mourinho, admits his downfall is more of the goals not coming in after the match saying

‘We also have another problem which is the number of goals our attacking players are scoring, or in this case aren’t scoring. When we make defensive mistakes we are punished because we don’t score enough goals. The team pays for the number of goals our attacking players aren’t scoring.’

He also confirms he is not shopping in January,

‘I don’t think it is right I go to the board and say these players are not good and we need to spend 50 or 100 or whatever. We have these players and it is with these players we have to go, and the players that are not performing well must feel attacked in their pride, in their self-esteem and they have to do everything to get results in a humble way.
