Everyone always looks forward to the double reds fight, Man United and Liverpool have a long rivalry and their games always show the intensity of both sides to want to take something from it. There is an added catch to this particular match, Both Managers have spent well over the transfer window and have not really shown the worth of the money.

Many would criticize LVG this summer for a lot of money spent “anyhow” especially with the so called panic buy of 45m 19 year old Anthony Martial but according to the United balance sheet, he actually only spent bout 5.5M. He was able to offload a lot of players to cater for his bills and thats a good thing.

Brendan Rodgers almost had it 2 season’s ago with the SSS (sturridge,Suarez,Sterling) attack but 2 season’s after, we can’t see that defining Liverpool yet. He has strengthened the side with good attacking options this time with Benteke, Firmino and Coutinho is still in to run the midfield.

Needless to say its going to be a tough match. As both teams have not really registered their trademark this season with both loosing their last games, Man United to Swansea 1-2 and Liverpool 0-3 to WestHam. It’s safe to play the Home Advantage here and give Manchester United the edge to take the match. De Gea is coming back and the midfield options looks better than Liverpool.
