Many Nigerians remember the World Cup team of 1994, The winning team in Atlanta 1996 and some few glory years in btw since then. Back and forth with coaches, in and out with players – The main question remains, will Nigeria ever live to reach her football glory days again?

In latest news, Nigeria have dropped nine places to rank 70th in July Fifa ranking released last Thursday.

The Super Eagles were ranked 61st in June’s rating but have now dropped to be ranked 16th best team in Africa.

Algeria, one of Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifiers opponents are the highest ranked team on the continent while Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions are 53rd in the world and seventh in Africa. For Zambia, they are the 88th best team in the world.

Euro 2016 champions, Portugal are sixth in the world having moved two places up. New Zealand are the biggest climbers moving up a massive 54 places to 93rd on the back of their OFC Nation Cup victory.

Nigeria is on the search for a new Adviser to try and take us to the World Cup, Will any of these help us. More impotantly, Will the ventures in Rio 2016 help us? We all wait and see

I dare say we should pray but hey that Nigeria way/spirit only works if we prepare well and put the work into it.
