Confirmed! Real Madrid will not make another attempt to sign David De Gea from Manchester United in January, club president Florentino Perez has confirmed. This may be due to the failed £29m deal that fell apart on deadline day between the two clubs or something else.
But there is a little story here, De Gea now has less than a year left on his contract with United, meaning Man Utd could be willing to avail of one last opportunity to make some money on the shot-stopper in January, so as to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
Which means, If De Gea does not renew contract with Manchester United, He is free for all by next summer. Some questions to ponder:
Is Man United going to loose as much as £29m on this player?
Will Man United force a new contract for De Gea?
Will Man United listen to any offers in January so as not to loose
In other stories, Louis Van Gaal has stated that De Gea will resume back into the First Team and help the Red Devils on their new quest.
Who do you blame for De Gea’s transfer mess, Man United or Real Madrid?
